When remodeling a master bath?

Is it better to hire a designer to draw a plan or will most reputable tile installers know what they are doing from clients description? I want to turn a bathtub into a full tiled body shower, and I dont know how to/the best way to start??

What is the best way to remove latex-based paint from granite countertops?

Our contractors did a shotty job of painting and left drops of paint on both our bathroom countertops. Is there an easy way to remove this without using paint thinner since this will probably soak into the granite and eventually ruin it?

Need help finding extra-small vanity for my powder bath in my remodeled home?

My powder bath is small and can only fit a vanity that is 24 x 17. I am having SO much trouble finding a vanity that will fit in there. Does anyone know where I can find something like this??? It cannot be larger than the above dimensions. THANKS! :)
