I just had pretty faux granite laminate countertops installed.I was wondering if I can put a high gloss polyurathane on them to make them look like the real thing?What product if any can I use to shine them up and make them look rich?

Anyone combined granite countertop on a kitchen island with other countertops in a coordinating color?

I love the look of granite but what I’m looking at is $81.00 per square foot. I’d love to have it SOMEWHERE in my kitchen but not on every countertop due to the cost. Has anyone seen any mixing of countertops done where it looks nice?

polyurethane overspray on bath vanities–how do we remove?

remodeling gone bad, polyurethane has been oversprayed on both new bathroom vanities, and our tiled floors, I am more concerned on getting it off of the vanities, and ideas???? They (the vanities ) feel like sand paper, one is marble and the other is porc.
