I just had pretty faux granite countertops installed.Can I put somekind of varnish on them to make them shine?

I just had pretty faux granite laminate countertops installed.I was wondering if I can put a high gloss polyurathane on them to make them look like the real thing?What product if any can I use to shine them up and make them look rich?

   You should go with a laquer because its thicker and holds a lot longer

   What exactly do you mean by “Faux granite”?
   If you’re talking about laminate you shouldn’t put anything on them.
