I live in Oklahoma and would like to be able to pick them up my self. I’ve talked with Sutherland’s but their a bit pricey. I’ve looked into RTA cabinets on the net but would have to have them shipped from out of state with considerable shipping fees. I don’t want particle board materials used on any part of the cabinets. Please help.

Home Depot has a good selection of inexpensive cabinetry that can be bought on the spot.

Best value to me does not mean the cheapest. As far as I am concerned the best value in cabinetry is custom. While more expensive in the beginning, they will last forever (most cabinet makers I know, including my self, build to an heirloom standard), and you get exactly what you want, and custom units will use every inch of available space, because your not locked to the 12-15-18-24″ and so on increments of store bought units
Just my opinion . . . .

Have you ever thought about just replacing the doors, and painting the old cabinets. You can also put new hardware on the doors and you will get a totally different look than you had before
